About
Hello! Steppy Steppy is a small, free game, and this is the little site it lives on.
Who made it
It's made by Jake — a dad who wrote a game for his children. That's honestly the whole story. It's just a bit of fun. Hope you like it.
What's here
One game, and a few pages about it: how to play, some tips, the characters and a page about how it was built. That's the lot.
There's nothing borrowed from anywhere else — every drawing, every sound and every line of code here was made specially for this game.
How it's paid for
The game is free and it's staying free. There are a few adverts on the pages around it, which help cover the cost of keeping it online.
Since this is very obviously a game for children, we've told Google to treat it that way. That means the adverts you see here aren't based on you or on anything you've been looking at elsewhere — there's no following you around the internet. The privacy page sets all of that out properly.
What we don't do
No accounts. No sign-ups. No newsletters. No high score table.
The game doesn't save anything on your device at all — not your progress, not which character you picked, nothing whatsoever. Every go starts fresh and leaves nothing behind. In fact, once the page has loaded, the game doesn't talk to the internet again at all.
